Additionally, we invite any entity or individual to establish an Endowment or become an Anchor Company of our most ambitious project: the development and building the unique high-tech facility, that we call: "La Casa de las Americas in Washington," LACAW. LACAW will be the window to the world of the Hispanic Latinos in the US and of the Latin American and Caribbean communities and markets. It will include the Trade Center of the Americas; the Center of our Children and Youth of the Americas, the Center of Latin American and Caribbean Studies. It will be our legacy to our future generations.
Please note that each of the TAF’s programs are the intellectual property of the Foundation.

The following is a brief description of each of the programs listed above:

"The Americas Computer Literacy to Work," ACOLTWORK. The Foundation is creating its first Center to foster computer literacy among low-income Hispanic and other individuals. We are starting at a modest level and plan to expand as the student numbers and needs require. We plan to set up our first Training Center outfitted with 20 computer terminals where neighborhood residents can learn basic office computer applications, E-mail, and Internet navigation, both in a formal classroom setting and during open access hours. Additionally, we will offer other basic job readiness-training skills and will assist the students to gain employment.
The second phase of our program includes providing assistance and support to our students as they advance in their young professional careers to prepare them to be more productive, increasing their income and thus their purchasing power and standard of living. They could possibly become your loyal customers. The size of our first Computer Training Center will include 20 student's terminal stations, 4 instructors, and administration offices.

The Americas Media Internet and Email Network,” AMIEN, is our Foundation's program to develop a grass roots advocacy voice of our members throughout all the 435 Congressional Districts. We seek to involve our members expressing their opinions on critical issues that impact our daily lives.

Americas Heritage Festival. The purpose of the Americas Heritage Festival is multifold, as follows:
    a. To launch and fund raising - the project to build "La Casa de las Americas in                  Washington"®, LACAW
    b. To celebrate the rediscovery of the America’s--highlighting North and South                    America’s rich and diverse cultures in the new millennium
    c. To bring us - the diverse peoples of the Americas - to work and live together in                    harmony
    d. To support LACAW’s Children and Youth of the Americas programs
    e. To support “La Casa de las Americas” Gift Fund that we recently established at the                  Smithsonian Institution
    6. To promote the District of Columbia throughout Latin America and the Caribbean;                  and within the Hispanic community throughout the United States

Americas Heritage Gala. The purpose of the Americas Heritage Gala is to launch and be a fund raising event for TAF's ambitious project to build "La Casa de las Americas in                  Washington"®, LACAW.

Latin America Investment Conference.  The purpose of the conference is to address investment policy, capital formation, election politics and trade issues impacting Latin America and the Caribbean in the new millennium.

Monthly Speaker Series at the US Congress on Hispanic and Latin American issues. We invite US Senators and Congressmen, Administration senior officials, Ambassadors, CEOs and other well known and experts to present their views on all major issues impacting Hispanics, Latin America and the Caribbean. Our next Conference will take place, Thursday, August 19th. The speakers will be: US Congressman Bob Filner from San Diego, California and an Ambassador we will be confirming his name shortly.

Distance Learning is part of our Foundation's goal to contribute to educate, train and empower our peoples through the Americas. We seek to use the state of the art technology and facilities to successfully implement this ambitious program.

Web sites Design and Management. We seek to continue our presence in Internet, as a vehicle to contribute to empower the peoples of the Americas, maintaining a leading-edge technical know-how in the implementation of our programs, projects and events.

Programs with Americas' Commercial Attaches.  It is the strong desire of The Americas Foundation to assist the Commercial Attaches of the Americas, through TAF, to achieve as a united group their mandates and goals in Washington, DC and indeed throughout the United States. TAF offered its strategic plan to the Commercial Attaches  at a June 29, 1999 meeting with them at the Embassy of Uruguay. TAF's plan includes alternatives to achieve some of the goals of the Commercial Attaches, thereby contributing to increase trade, investment, technology transfer, tourism, exchanges, higher visibility in Washington, DC, and thus, to strengthen the economic development of Latin America and the Caribbean, using among other vehicles: Internet website.

"TAF's Mall of the Americas" One of our ambitious programs in the Internet, we are working on, is the establishment of a dynamic Shopping Mall of the Americas. We plan to use leading-edge technology and maintain it up with it.

Internship and Leadership Program. We are ready to implement a wide internship and leadership program throughout the Americas. As in all of our programs, we have the strategic plan and logistics in place to start executing them; the one ingredient we are seeking is the seed funding or matching funds.

Youth Multimedia and Video Center” The purpose of this Center is to provide Hispanic youth the training to make them experienced to handle cameras, write script, design and build stages, produce documentaries and other, and in general provide them a well rounded up knowledge in this industry. We will proceed to secure jobs within the industry for the students that graduate from our program.

"La Casa de las Americas Fund" is a Gift Fund that I personally established at the Smithsonian Institution by donating some personal funds. The purpose of the fund is to study, research and celebrate the heritage of the Americas. We plan with the Smithsonian to develop virtual web sites of reality museums and exhibits of the culture, history and art of the Americas.

"La Casa de las Americas in Washington" is our most ambitious project. It is the development and building of a unique high-tech facility that will be the window to the world of the Hispanics and Latin America and Caribbean contributions to the United States and to the world.

Our goal with the assistance of anyone and everyone interested in joining and supporting us is to implement and maintain a leading-edge technical know-how in the implementation of all our programs, projects and events. And, to encourage and contribute to make available said technology to the Foundation's members and the market in general.

The level or amount of sponsorship varies with each program and the package of benefits we will provide to sponsors varies accordingly.
