The Washington Ballet to give a Benefit Performance for
Americas Global Foundation

Mr. Martin Cohen, Executive Director of The Washington Ballet in a meeting with Victor Pinzon, president of The Americas Foundation on May 30 confirmed the benefit performance that The Washington Ballet will offer to The Americas Foundation (TAF).
The benefit will take place at the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts on Sunday evening October 15, 2000. The benefit is specifically a fund raising for TAFs ambitious project to build La Casa de las Americas in Washington. The Washington Ballets performance is part of the Americas Heritage Gala2000 that TAF is organizing that evening.
This event will be
an opportunity for the Honorary Founding Members of La Casa de las Americas
in Washington (LACAW), their guests, the growing number of supporters and others to
join to celebrate and contribute to launch the dream of making LACAW a wonderful reality.
The following are the distinguished personalities whom have to date
